Riverside State Park

Riverside State Park is your destination if you’re hoping to get some time on the water. It boasts 120 feet of dock and 3 boat ramps all to help you in your fishing or water skiing desires. Or if you’re hoping to catch some white water, Riverside also contains river to support this activity. They even rent kayaks at the Nine Mile Recreation Area. If boating’s not your thing but you love the thrill of biking, consider the 55 miles of bike trails in Riverside for your exploration. They also, if you’d like a horse to do the work for you while you explore, offer 25 miles of horse trails. What’s not to love?

Now, if you’re searching for an amazing view, Mount Spokane State Park is the place to go. The view from the park reaches all the way into other states and Canada all while offering 100 miles of trails to explore. That’s a lot of ground to cover! And if you’re up for exploring in the winter, Mount Spokane State Park gets more than 300 inches of snow during the winter, which equals a wonderful experience Nordic skiing on their 50 kilometers of groomed trails.
